The Rivers State Government has received the donation of 21,650 bags of grains from the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu. Governor Siminalayi Fubara took delivery of the donated items in Port Harcourt on Wednesday. The event formed part of the Rivers State Government and NEMA joint Flag-off of the Federal Government Grain Distribution exercise in the State. The donated food items consist of 3, 680 bags of garri and 17,970 bags of corn. They are part of the Presidential food palliative initiative distributed to cushion the effects of hunger and the economic hardship faced by many families across Nigeria.   Meta has announced that content creators in Nigeria and Ghana with at least 5,000 followers will start earning money on Facebook from July 1, 2024.  The company introduced two monetisation features: In-Stream Ads on Facebook and Facebook Ads on Reels on Monday. According to a statement from Meta, these features will allow creators to earn revenue by producing original videos and building their communities.   ANGOLA TO OPEN VISA OFFICE IN PORT HARCOURT The Republic of Angola says it will will open a  visa office in Port Harcourt, capital city of Rivers State on Tuesday, April 2nd.
