The PDP Governors’ Forum held a meeting under the leadership of H.E Governor Bala Mohammed, CON, at the Oyo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Tuesday, 31st October, 2023. 2. My Pastor Taught Me Masturbation, Pornography, Witness Tells Court  Middle-aged man, Chigozie Emmanuel, on Monday, told an Ikeja High Court how his pastor, Elijah Emenandy, allegedly introduced pornography and masturbation and anal sex to him in his church office.  Emmanuel testified against Emenandy, charged with sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault.  He was led in evidence by Lagos State counsel, Mr Olu Azeez. The alleged survivor told the court that the incident happened when he was 19 years old and the defendant was his pastor.  The witness further said that the defendant, thereafter, requested to penetrate his anus, but he refused and the next morning the defendant was angry, accusing him of refusing to do the work of God with him (defendant).  The Elders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, have met the Governor of the state, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, in closed doors over peace. The meeting is not unconnected with the move by some lawmakers in the State House of Assembly to impeach the governor of the state, which led to the burning of the hallowed chambers of the assembly.The persons at the meeting include Elder Ferdinand Alabaraba, Leader of PDP Elders Forum, Chief Sergeant Awuse, the Chairman of Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers, OCJ Okocha, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and Bro Felix Obuah, the Campaign Director of PDP/Fubara for the 2023 election. The meeting was held at the residence of the governor in Government House, Port Harcourt.  The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has described the Supreme Court judgement which upheld President Tinubu’s election as Nigeria’s loss. He said this at a press conference organized by his party in Abuja on  Monday, October 30. ANY UNJUSTIFIED IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDING WILL BE RESISTED - GOV. SIM. FUBARA Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara has condemned the bombing of the State House of Assembly by some disgruntled elements. Their actions appeared being used as a cover up for the purported attempt to impeach some people. Governor Fubara stated this on Monday morning when he visited the premises of the Assembly Complex to inspect the level of damage caused by the bombing that took place Sunday's night. While the governor approached the Assembly Complex, some compromised police officers sprayed water, shot at him and also used tear gas canisters.  Those attempts were apparently to discourage the governor from gaining access. Governor Fubara who was greeted by well-meaning Rivers youths eventually inspected the damages done at the complex. He described as unfortunate the attempt by some disgruntled persons to forcefully take over control of the Assembly as a repeat of what happened about 10 years ago....

BREAKING: Rivers Assembly Set Ablaze Over Alleged Move To Impeach Gov Fubara The Rivers State House of Assembly (RSHA) was last night October 29 set ablaze by suspected political thugs over the alleged move to impeach the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara and Leader of the House, Edison Ehie. Some thugs in a white Hilux van invaded the assembly complex at about 9pm, disarmed the security personnel on duty and allegedly  carried out the act. It was learnt that the incident occurred at the assembly complex, opposite the Headquarters of the State Command Police, on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt. It is alleged that the lawmakers had concluded plans to impeach Fubara and Ehie today October 30 at it resumed sitting following some undisclosed issues.   Bolt driver surrenders to Police to prove his Innocence over missing lady.  Bolt driver, Kelechi Uzor, has voluntarily turned himself in to the police in Rivers State to prove his "innocence" following the disappearance of a lady, Miss Elizabeth Edoukumor.
