EDISON PLEDGES FIRM SUPPORT AS CHIEF OF STAFF TO GOV FUBARA TO ENSURE SUCCESS OF THE ADMINISTRATION


Rt. Hon. Ehie Edision has taken his oath of office to assume duties as the new Chief of Staff, Government House in Port Harcourt.

EDISON PLEDGES FIRM SUPPORT AS CHIEF OF STAFF TO GOV FUBARA TO ENSURE SUCCESS OF THE ADMINISTRATION



He was sworn-in on Monday at the Executive Chambers of Government House, alongside five Special Advisers.



Rt. Hon. promised firm support to governor Siminalayi Fubara so that the administration will succeed, fulfilling its promises to Rivers people.



He described the appointment as a privilege and expressed delight to have been found worthy to serve as part of the cabinet of Fubara's administration.



Rt Hon. Edision vowed to apply due diligence and be purposeful in bringing his wealth of experience to bear on his new responsibility.

 Rivers CP removes DPO, apologises over assault on journalists The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Adewale Adepoju, says the Divisional Police Officers in charge of the Abali Park jurisdiction where journalists were assaulted by officers of the command while covering the #TakeItBackProtest in Port Harcourt has been removed from office. Adepoju disclosed this to members of the state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, during a courtesy visit to the union on Friday, where he tendered an unreserved apology to the union and the journalists who were assaulted by some police officers on Monday, April 7, 2025.
