RSG GOVERNMENT MAKE PUBLIC 20-DAY PROGRAMME OF EVENTS TO MARK FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF GOV FUBARA IN OFFICE 



The Rivers State government has outlined 20 separate activities, which will include projects inauguration and flag-offs to mark the first anniversary of Governor Siminalayi Fubara in office. 





Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG) Dr. Tammy Danagogo gave details of the projects and other activities at a media briefing that took place in his office in Port Harcourt on Tuesday. 



Dr Danagogo is also the Chairman of the First Year Anniversary Planning Committee of the administration of Governor Fubara.


There are about 7 distinct projects billed for inauguration within the period.


Also, there are about five other projects scheduled to be flagged off.


Within the period, there will be Rivers State Economic Summit 2024 launched, and thee will be a children's party to be hosted by Lady Valerie Siminalayi Fubara, wife if rhe sate governor.


Also, there will be a youth development programme, a praise night and State Banquet to celebrate the 57th  Anniversary of the creation of Rivers State.


Dr Danagogo also explained that there are other shades of the project, some of which were inherited that have attained various levels of completion.


He said a book will be published containing all of those projects, policies and programme of the Governor.


The book will be made available to the public to enable Rivers people have a better understanding of what has been achieved so far.
